Minimum viable day MVD
The smallest version of a productive day that still keeps momentum alive. Not failure — choosing to protect the thread rather than break it entirely.
1. Attend classes
2. One 25-minute work block on anything
3. One real rest interval — music or lying down, no screen
Mark with the MVD button on each day card.
Full rest day Rest
When your body or mind genuinely could not show up — not even for MVD. Not laziness. Your nervous system occasionally needs a complete stop.
One per week is fine. Multiple is a signal — usually something external is draining you.
Make rest actually restful: music without screens, lying down, being outside. Not a show.
Mark with Full rest. Disables MVD for that day.
The stack
The decision you make on Sunday so you don't have to make it mid-week. Write the single next concrete action per area.
When you sit down to work, you're not deciding what to do — you're just executing what you already decided. This removes the friction that makes you open a show instead.
Drag items to reorder priority within High or Low focus.
Update every Sunday in the Stack tab.
Real rest vs. shows
You watch shows actively — tracking characters, figuring things out. That's entertainment, not rest. It doesn't restore you.
Real rest quietens input rather than replacing it: music alone, lying down without a screen, being outside. At least one daily, ideally right after classes as a transition ritual.
Track with the Rest checkbox. Shows belong on weekends.
The pull system Backlog
The Backlog is for items that aren't part of this week's sprint. It's your "maybe later" list.
Don't clutter your Weekly Sprint with too many tasks. Periodically "pull" an item from your Backlog into your Sprint when you have extra capacity. This keeps your focus sharp and your sprint manageable.
Move items between Backlog and Sprint in the Stack tab.
